We suggest you begin with learning about decolonization because Indigenous peoples have cared for the lands and waters we know as Canada since time immemorial. We have so much to learn from Indigenous knowledges, cultures and laws about stewarding the land, water, and living world around us. It's also important to learn about the impacts colonization has had on people and the planet.
