Last summer, parents, teachers and allies across BC signed an open letter to the BC Minister of Education, Lisa Beare, in support of climate education in our public schools. In July, For Our Kids Vancouver delivered the letter with over 175 signatories, including organizations representing over 53,000 people!
In October 2025, members of For Our Kids and Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment met with a representative of the Ministry of Education to discuss our recommendations.
The meeting was productive. However, we haven’t been able to move the discussion forward, so we are asking for your help!
