Orléans (Ottawa) Action for a Just Transition

Join members from For Our Kids/Parents for the Planet Ottawa Gatineau who are hosting this action in collaboration with 350.org and Council of Canadians.

It has been nearly 3 years since Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised to pass a Just Transition Act and we have seen no serious progress. On March 12th, people across Canada are going to take action for a just transition that guarantees good jobs, puts people first and leaves no one behind.

Join us in Orleans for an imagined ribbon-cutting ceremony for a newly created "Ministry of Just Transition".

This will be a family-friendly, non-partisan event. Everyone is welcome - Orleans residents and people from other ridings. COVID safety protocols will be adhered to so please wear a mask and respect current government guidelines.
