No to war. Yes to people, planet, and peace.

The path to a liveable planet is to end all wars.

We send our love and solidarity to all of the children, families, and communities who are suffering as war spirals across the Middle East.

We call on the Canadian government to protect the children and families of the region and around the world. In a time of escalating aggression and violence, the world needs Canada to champion international law, diplomacy, and cooperation. The safety and wellbeing of all children depend on it.

Climate justice is incompatible with war and militarism. So as a parent-led climate movement, we also have a responsibility to use our collective power to mobilize for peace. Thankfully, the international anti-war movement offers us the resources and infrastructure for doing so.

As a starting point, we encourage our members to consider signing World BEYOND War’s Declaration of Peace, which states:

I understand that wars and militarism make us less safe rather than protect us, that they kill, injure and traumatize adults, children and infants, severely damage the natural environment, erode civil liberties, and drain our economies, siphoning resources from life-affirming activities. I commit to engage in and support nonviolent efforts to end all war and preparations for war and to create a sustainable and just peace.

Toward a planet where all children can grow up safe, healthy, and happy.
