Help Shape the Future of Healthy Learning Environments!
Canadian Partnership for Children's Health and Environment (CPCHE) is developing a series of Q&As to address critical climate-related indoor air quality (IAQ) issues in early learning and school settings such as:
- Are there practical ways that the health risks and impacts of wildfire smoke can be minimized within schools and childcare settings?
- If our childcare facility doesn’t have air conditioning, what should we do on days of extreme heat?
- We had a flooding event in our school/childcare program and are now noticing a musty smell. What should we do?
- Our classrooms are not air-conditioned and we are experiencing both heat and wildfire smoke. Should we be taking the kids outside?
Your input is crucial!
We invite you to share your thoughts and suggestions. What questions do you have about wildfire smoke, extreme heat, flooding, or other IAQ concerns in schools and childcare centers?
Please send your feedback to Areej at [email protected] by January 9th.
