We are a group of families in Burnaby coming together to take action on climate change and biodiversity protection.
We hold regular events for families aimed at engaging kids and their grown-ups in local initiatives and actions that foster connection and stewardship with the environment and build knowledge, confidence and tools for advocating for a livable future for generations to come.
Our group formed in 2022 around work to pass the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty in Burnaby. Check out the story here. Some of our activities include kids climate workshops, art builds, hosting family tents at climate rallies, streamkeeping at Beecher Creek, mending circles and a variety of other advocacy and educational activities for families.
Check out our Instagram page for more information on our events. You can also read more about us here.
