UPDATE: After receiving thousands of submissions from the public, the federal government has extended the consultation deadline. We now have until July 22nd to influence the federal government's proposed plan to fast-track major industrial projects like pipelines and mines.
They want to compress safety reviews, create "pre-approved" economic zones, and cut out community and Indigenous voices, all under the guise of "cutting red tape." As parents, grandparents, and caregivers, we know what this really means: rushing through polluting projects at the expense of our children's health, safety, and climate future.
Let's remind the consultation panel that our children’s future is not open for negotiation.
