With only a few more weeks of school left, it's a good time to come together to celebrate your accomplishments this past year, meet other parents who are taking school climate actions, and brainstorm ideas for future school actions. We will be joined by Jackie McVicar, Atlantic Canada Organizer with For Our Kids, to talk about extreme heat in schools and the For Our Kids “Hot Schools, Cool Solutions” campaign. Jackie will be sharing her experience and learning with extreme heat in Nova Scotia.
This is a space to ask questions, share your own school's challenges, and find a supportive network of parents doing the same work across the country. Grab a tea, hop on, and let’s grow this movement together. Kids and pets are welcome!
