Tour a Historic Powerhouse

⚡ Amid rising climate uncertainty and geopolitical conflict, energy security is a growing concern. But what do our families know about the electricity that powers our lives? ⚡

On Sunday, July 19, join For Our Kids Vancouver for guided, all ages, tours of The Powerhouse at Stave Falls in Mission, B.C.

Inside this 100-year-old former hydropower generating facility — and now National Historic Site of Canada — learn all about renewable and nonrenewable energy sources, see a live electricity demonstration, explore human heritage and natural conservation, and get up close and personal with the original (massive!) turbines and generators that once did the heavy lifting to power our province.

Two time slots available - 10 am or 1 pm.
