Parents Talk Climate Pictou County
Feeling overwhelmed by climate change? You're not alone!
For Our Kids, a national network of parents, grandparents, and allies is partnering with the Pictou County Forest School to gather parents and anyone who cares about future generations in the afternoon of November 30, 2024 to envision what a climate safe and healthy Nova Scotia looks like.
This gathering will provide a chance to:
- Connect with other concerned parents
- Explore the strengths, skills and networks that we each bring to climate action
- Discuss what climate action looks like in Northeastern NS
We're gathering anyone who cares about our kids' future, no matter your experience with climate action. We'll start the day at 1 pm with nature-based programming and activities for the kids while the adults head off to talk in the new insulated PCFS building on site. When registering please indicate how many children will be joining as well as their ages. For any questions please reach out to Wyanne at [email protected].
The Pictou County Forest School is located on MacBain Road in Meadowville (look for the sign).
