North Vancouver Island Climate Speaker Series

This event has already taken place.

We would like to welcome you to join the first session of our climate change speaker series on June 15th at 7pm. A friendly forum, open to all, to learn about climate-related topics. 

Our guest speaker will be Dr. Jeff Lewis

A faculty member in the Geography Department at VIU, teaching earth and atmospheric sciences.  An expert in climate change and the impacts it will have on Vancouver Island. 

Some of the topics covered are:

  1. The history of climate change.

  2. The causes of climate change.

  3. The local impacts of climate change.

  4. Ways for people to reduce their contribution to climate change.
