
This spring, the government is likely to decide if they'll provide public financing for Liquefied Natural Gas projects in northern British Columbia, including projects like the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission pipeline (PRGT), Ksi Lisims export terminal, Coastal GasLink phase 2 (CGL2) and LNG Canada phase 2.
These projects face fierce opposition from frontline Indigenous communities, pose huge environmental and health risks, and make no economic sense in a rapidly decarbonizing world.
Email your MP to tell them you strongly oppose public subsidies for LNG projects that have no place in a climate-safe, just future!
