Right now, the federal government has an opportunity to finalize bold regulations on methane pollution for the oil and gas industry. This is the low-hanging fruit of climate action - one of the most cost-effective ways to slow climate change. 

Oil and gas methane emissions contribute to the hotter, drier conditions that fuel devastating wildfires—like those we're experiencing right now across Canada. The regulations are ready to go, and we have a huge opportunity to get them across the finish line. 

What is a phone zap?
We'll gather over a Zoom call to share talking points about the proposed regulations and help you find the phone number of your MP and relevant Ministers. Then we'll make the calls! This will be a friendly, supportive space, great for people who are new to phoning their elected representatives. And if you're nervous to make calls, this is a good time to ease into it because you are likely to be leaving voice messages.
