London "The Families on the Bus Say..." Meet-Up

This event has already taken place.

Join the conversation: "The Families on the Bus Say..."

For Our Kids London invites you to a conversation about the challenges families face when using public transit. Do you think London's bus system is family-friendly? What prevents you from using the bus more often? Do you have ideas for how it could be improved to better meet the needs of families?

Join us this Tuesday, August 5, at 7 p.m. at the London Central Library (251 Dundas St.). You’ll find us next to the For Our Kids banner.

Kids are welcome! They can play in the Children's Library and share their own thoughts about public transit.

This event is part of a new campaign to raise awareness about the importance of public transit and start a dialogue with the London Transit Commission. Together, we'll work to ensure our needs as families are heard.

If you can't make it but want to stay informed about the campaign, please email [email protected]. We’ll be in touch with updates on our next activity, which will include creating a song—"The families on the bus say..."—and other creative ways to make our voices heard.
