Recently, For Our Kids Richmond joined an event hosted by Lower Mainland Green Team to remove invasive blackberry at King George Park. It was truly a rewarding experience for us to connect with nature, make a positive impact on our local ecosystem, and even have some fun doing tough but satisfying work.

Kids and adults learned a lot about identifying native and invasive plants and the role they play in biodiversity and natural cycles. We look forward to revisiting the park to see the long-term impact, and hopefully we'll join another invasive plant removal soon!
