Loretta will present an overview of these impacts and highlight examples of what you can do to minimize those impacts and support sustainable alternatives. Please join us!

Loretta took up sewing children’s clothing while on maternity leave as a hobby. Over time, sewing turned into a passion and a small business. As both the maker and end user of her clothing, Loretta observed firsthand the dramatic differences fabric and design choices made in clothing longevity. She also discovered hard truths about fabric production, the fashion industry, and the many impacts of our consumptive clothing culture.
