This Valentine's, tell BMO to break up with big polluters!

Valentine's Day is coming up, and we're thinking about our love for our kids, the future and a healthy planet.

We're also thinking about how big banks like BMO say their heart is in the right place, all while they keep up an unhealthy relationship with oil and gas.

So this year, we have a Valentine's Day message for BMO:

If you care about a sustainable future and an inclusive society, it's time to break up with big polluters, like the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.

In April, BMO will be sponsoring CAPP’s annual conference just like last year, getting cozy with Canada’s oil and gas industry, who are working hard to delay our shift to renwable energy.

Sponsoring CAPP shows us BMO is more worried about its relationships with the fossil fuel industry than regular customers and Canadians like us.

But it's not too late to break it off. In fact, Scotiabank broke up with CAPP just a couple of years ago, after pressure from environmental organizations like Greenpeace.

BMO -- this Valentine's Day, say no to CAPP and show your love for a healthy, green future!
