Across Canada, communities are beginning to declare climate emergencies and take increasingly serious action on climate. Where does your community stand? Has there been a climate emergency declaration in your community? And what is your community doing about climate change? Actions include: -A petition on the For Our Kids website to Prime Minister Trudeau demanding support for communities who have declared climate emergencies -An option to contact your town/city/regional district's person in charge of climate change and the environment. If there isn't one, contact the local official (city councillor, for example) most likely to be supportive of an emergency climate declaration -Add your community to our online map, marking climate emergency status, and providing a way for people in your community to get in touch with you and join a team to work on declaring a climate emergency.
