Ask your locally-elected school board to pass a resolution stating its desire to move to 100% electric school buses in its district, and following up with a letter to the province asking to make this happen. Get kids involved doing electric school bus art to be sent to the school board. Could even make a cardboard school bus at home, paint it, and take a pic with kid(s) in the cut out window. A local group could organize a 'fleet' of such buses (with kids) in a socially-distant 'drive by' of school board office. Lowest barrier action could be a For Our Kids petition to Catherine McKenna, national infrastructure minister, asking her to accelerate funding for electric school buses.
